Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026-06-15
1. Scope
These terms apply to the use of CoupleHQ, operated by [Firmenname / Betreiber] (“we”). By registering you accept these terms.
2. Service
CoupleHQ is a web/PWA application for couples with various add-on tools (e.g. calendar, tasks, finances). A household comprises a maximum of two people.
3. Registration & account
You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential. Information must be truthful. Each household has one master (owner) and optionally one invited partner.
4. Pricing & trial
Each tool costs €0.99 per month per household. There is a free 14-day trial during which all tools are unlocked. Alternatively, lifetime full access can be purchased via a lifetime deal (e.g. AppSumo, Dealify, Groupon, StackSocial) and redeemed in the app.
5. Billing
Billing is handled by our payment provider Stripe, in advance for each billing period. By purchasing, you authorize charges for the selected scope.
6. Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time – either entirely or by removing individual, unused tools. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; amounts already paid are not refunded pro rata unless legally required. Lifetime access remains.
7. Right of withdrawal
Consumers generally have a 14-day right of withdrawal. For digital services this may lapse if performance has begun with your express consent before the withdrawal period expires. [Add full withdrawal instructions before launch.]
8. User obligations
You undertake not to use the service abusively, unlawfully, or in a way that impairs others.
9. Availability & liability
We strive for high availability but do not owe uninterrupted availability. We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence and under product liability law; otherwise only for breach of essential contractual obligations, limited to foreseeable damage.
10. Changes
We may change these terms with reasonable notice. If you do not object within the stated period, the changes are deemed accepted.
11. Final provisions
The law of [country/state] applies to the extent legally permissible. Should individual provisions be invalid, the remainder of the contract remains effective.
